PRICING

Initial Consultation: (15-30 minute phone call) FREE                                                      

If you are curious about art therapy and whether I am a good fit as a therapist for you or your child/teen, please contact me for a free phone consultation.

Initial Psychotherapy Session: (60 minutes) $120.00                    

During the first session, we will discuss the service agreement and intake form you have completed, identify the concern(s) leading you to therapy and determine the goals for therapy according to you/your child’s/teen’s unique needs.

Regular Psychotherapy Session: (60 minutes) $120.00                        

During these sessions, we will continue to work together toward your unique goals for therapy while building coping skills.

Extended Appointment: (90 minutes) $180.00

Some clients find that an hour is not long enough to create art and process what they wish to process during the session. It is possible to book 90-minute sessions in this case.

Caregiver Feedback Session: (30 minutes) $60.00                           

This session is a check-in opportunity for the caregiver(s) to talk about the child/adolescent/adult dependent client’s progress in therapy, at home and school, and whether any changes are needed in the plan. In addition, I may recommend potential helpful resources.

Payment Information

I offer limited sliding scale rates, depending on financial circumstances. Please discuss sliding scale rates with me at your initial phone consultation if needed.

I currently accept e-transfers, cash and cheques for payment. Full payment is required as soon as possible after each scheduled appointment. You will receive an invoice after each session and when I receive your payment, I will issue a receipt. Psychotherapy services are usually covered under extended health benefits. If you have extended health coverage, check with your insurance plan to see if you have coverage for therapy sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario). If so, you will be able to submit the invoice I provide (which includes my College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario registration number) to your insurance company for reimbursement. If not, you can submit them as medical expenses with your income tax return.

Your appointment time is reserved for you/your child/teen/adult dependent. Since short notice cancellations (less than 24 hours) prevent me from booking another client, please inform me of the cancellation as soon as possible. All cancellations require 24 hours’ notice by phone, text or email, or you will be billed for the full session fee. In extenuating circumstances I will waive this fee. If a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment and does not notify me that they are not coming, (“no-show”) they will be billed.
